Dr. Callenberger is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon.  While maintaining a full time Orthopedic Practice, he continues to work in academics. He is a nationally recognized lecturer on hip fractures as well as a board certification examiner. He is a clinical instructor for Nova Southeastern University , The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, and Eastern Florida State College. Dr. Callenberger will also be an instructor for the new Osteopathic Medical School in Orlando.

Dr. Callenberger's professional memberships are: The American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics (AOAO), American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery (AOBOS), American Osteopathic Association (AOA), Florida Orthopedic Society (FOS), Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA), and Brevard County Medical Society (BCMS).
